Why immersion cooling and why now?

Our partner Castrol invited Jon Summers to participate in their DCD Cooling Innovation Day July 18th together with Lukas Kaluza, Castrol, and Daniel Pope, Submer.
During the session they discussed Industry trends that drive the adoption of immersion cooling, for example data centre growth, emergence of ML/AI, emergence of edge computing, increased power density and thermal requirements and regulatory compliance to unlock additional energy efficiency, to enable effective cooling technologies beyond air an to rethink infrastructure.
