RISE Data Center Systems to coordinate large innovation project to strengthen Sweden’s position in the development of digital infrastructure.
We are very proud to be coordinating the H-DINI (High-Density ai digital Infrastructure supportIng 6G) project. The project will address several of the key digital infrastructure challenges tied to the rapid expansion of AI and high-performance computing, including power distribution, compute node design, thermal management and heat recovery. The project consortium consists of a broad range of strong Swedish and Internation partners, including RISE, Chalmers University, Luleå University of Technology, Smart High Tech, Ericsson, ABB, Alfa Laval, Grundfos, Enoc Systems, Hitachi Energy, Fläkt Group, APR technologies, Perstorp, Castrol.
One ambition of the project is to develop and build full-scale demonstrator(s) for future generation AI hardware at RISE ICE http://ri.se/ice , using components and solutions from participating partners. We are very excited to start of the project and hosting the first two-day workshop in Luleå Sweden, mid November!
We also like to express a Big thanks to Vinnova, Sweden’s Innovation Agency and the Advanced Digitalisation Program for prioritizing the topic of digital infrastructure and supporting the project.
