Engineering for the age of AI is full of interesting challenges and the need for the applications of the best science has always been something that keeps our work at RISE interesting and relevant as this 21st century technology encompasses so many challenges: technical, ethical, and political.

But this 30 min video from Ed Zitron talking about the AI bubble ( https://lnkd.in/exmrA7yN ), a topic that is muted at many events over the last 3 years, is definitely worth listening to, in particular if you are engaged with the construction and developments of data centres.

I do then question the chart presented recently by https://epoch.ai/ that highlights 3 data centre build projects out of their list of 50 sites (most in the US) that are close to 1GW in size. Bragawatts or Watt!
