HEATWISE - An EU project for waste heat and thermal energy management in tertiary buildings

The consortium has successfully finalized the signing of the grant agreement for a €4,5M project under the Horizon Europe program, co-funded by the European Union (CINEA - European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency).
HEATWISE aims to tackle the integration of waste heat and thermal energy management in tertiary buildings with significant IT loads for the minimization of waste heat, maximization of energy efficiency, and generation of additional value.
Our use cases include offices, university campuses, industrial buildings, research centers, hospitals, and hotels, targeting all relevant actors from building owners and operators, energy and building management systems producers, developers, tenants, facilities and data center managers, to construction and architecture companies, as well as the scientific community.
A partnership is formed between 12 partners coming from 8 different countries across the EU and beyond. Together, we are determined to create a lasting impact on buildings’ energy efficiency and thermal management optimization.
