Risk and security
As society becomes more high-tech, digital, and interconnected, vulnerability increases. Automated transport, interconnected energy systems, and just-in-time deliveries create efficiency—but also new risks. For companies and organizations, this poses challenges: How can you ensure that safety-critical control systems function correctly? How do you build information systems that not only withstand attacks but can also adapt and recover? How do you manage continuity when your business is hit by cyberattacks, fires, or other disruptions? How do you address new risks from electric vehicles, hydrogen, and batteries?
RISE helps organisations build safety and resilience from product to operation. When safety-critical control systems are developed for machines, vehicles or the process industry, RISE conducts independent functional safety assessments and tests to verify electrical safety. Through risk analyses and system safety perspectives, RISE takes a holistic approach where technical solutions are combined with organisational resilience – from individual components to entire information systems.
Expertise in risk and security
Expertise
Risk analysis of machinery
RISE has a long experience of reviewing and providing guidance in conducting risk analyzes. By taking help from us early in the process, you reduce the risk of ending up at wrong level in this work process.
Expertise
Functional safety
Functional safety is that part of overall safety that depends on whether a system or component operates correctly with the input signals that it receives. RISE has a broad expertise within the field of functional safety.
Services in risk and security
Service
Electrical safety testing of electrical products
We offer electrical safety testing of household and similar electrical appliances, IT-products, and equipment for measurement, control and laboratory use. We can also offer CB-certification as well as ETL-certification for USA/Canada through our cooperation with Intertek Semko
Service
Functional safety assessment
Several new functional safety standards require that an independent safety review be conducted in parallel with the development work of components / systems. RISE is accredited by SWEDAC to perform functional safety assessment in accordance with IEC 61508, IEC 61511 and ISO 26262, among others.
Why RISE
