The panel "Building the AI Continent", was moderated by Dr. Dr Monique Calisti, CEO Martel Innovate, introducing the very important topic and focus of the European Commission, the #AIContinentAct.

Dr. Calisti discussed with the experts what the steps that #Europe needs to take in order to:
- Become global leader in trustworthy AI
- Safeguard our democratic values
- Develop human-centric ethical secure trustworthy AI
- Transition the AI continent vision into reality

The panelists were Florence Bout (OpenNebula Systems), Alessio Manca (Tiscali), Stanisław Krzyżanowski (CloudFerro S.A.) and Çağatay Yılmaz (RISE Research Institutes of Sweden) and they touched upon several points and aspects that are playing a crucial role here: 
- The challenge of higher capacity vs orchestration..
- Are the technologies and tools scalable, affordable and interoperable?
