Extended frame agreement with Swedish Space Agency

RISE ICE Datacenter has got an extended frame agreement agreed with Swedish National Space Agency to develop the Swedish Space Data Lab further. Included is to develop the data platform with APIs and tools, the satellite images management and the data analysis tool kit.
The agreement is over 3 years with a minimum 7,5 Mkr year and a roof of 10 Mkr a year and will executed in ordered projects step by step. The agreement includes funding for a basic development of the space data platform and additional use case studies with partners.
During 2021 an extra budget of 1,8 Mkr was added to implement OpenEO. OpenEO develops an open API to connect R, Python, JavaScript and other clients to big Earth observation cloud back-ends in a simple and unified way.
