Heat re-use datacenter greenhouse ICE research

Energy efficient greenhouses using low temperature heat from datacenters

30 December 2020, 09:47

We got our project proposal together with LTU on energy efficient greenhouses using low temperature heat from for example datacenters approved by the Swedish Energy Agency in the Thermo program. It is a pre-study on how Low-temperature energy sources and heat recovery can be used in interaction with cultivation.

The objective is to create conditions for sustainable and competitive greenhouse cultivation in Sweden through synergies between different industries and technologies. As an enabler, a new concept is proposed, in which energy and cultivation efficiency interact.
