ICE data center is recruiting to double

Luleå Ice data center in Luleå is now recruiting 10 new employees and plans to double the business, which has grown rapidly over the past five years.
Since state-owned Rise 2016 established its first open facility for research on data centers, operations in Luleå have grown. From a turnover of SEK 9 million, they now have a turnover of SEK 40 million. Since the start, they have hired 30 employees and now they are recruiting 10 more.
- We have come across some "sweet spots", perfect places to be, that almost no one else is doing. Together with LTU, we have found these areas, says Tor Björn Minde, unit manager at Rise Ice data center in Luleå.
It started with a research and test environment around data centers, open to all interested organizations and companies. The first of its kind and from that business it continues to grow.
