“NextBioForm is an excellent example of what it takes to create real collaboration between the industry and academy”

04 December 2020, 14:24

On October 22th 2020, NextBioForm arranged a digital consortium meeting with the purpose of sharing the science development in the centre and further increasing collaboration between partners.

The meeting had 40 participants, one being Pia Kinhult from ESS who gave a very appreciated keynote about the possibilities of large scale research infrastructures.

– NextBioForm is an excellent example of what it takes to create real collaboration between the industry and academy. The project also shows, through this collaboration, how the industry better can use the research infrastructures available at ESS and MAX IV, says Pia Kinhult, Head of Host States Relations at ESS.

This meeting was followed by a digital workshop with project partners and external stakeholders to brainstorm on how a future and long-term hub for competence, partnership, and services could be designed. The topic of the day was to identify the interests and needs of companies and other partners to formulate the scope for the hub.
