The activities in NextBioForm and elsewhere are back on full speed after the summer holidays. We are very happy that Vinnova has granted funding of NextBioForm for another year. This gives us the opportunity to continue to successful collaborations developed in the past years. During 2024 we will continue the ongoing research and complement this with new activities and collaborations with other consortia. In additions, we look forward to several doctoral thesis defences.
During the past two years the PhD students of NextBioForm have taken part in a mentor programme, and the final activity was the NextBioForm Career Day held at AstraZeneca in Mölndal. The PhD students presented their projects, met with industrial researchers to discussed career paths, and received valuable advice from the Talent acquisition HR representative. It was a highly appreciated and inspirational day and gave the young researchers plenty of food for thought. A big thank you to AstraZeneca for hosting us!
