New exhibition sparks curiosity about forests

Frökapseln is much more than just an exhibition — it is a place where the next generation can discover the value of the forest, its diversity and its potential for future careers. Through games, films, stories and interactive elements, visitors can immerse themselves in a narrative in which the forest takes centre stage.

Together with Nätraälven Skog, Callans Trä, SCA, Norra Skog, Mondi Dynäs, Höglands Såg & Hyvleri, Bränna Natur, Rundvirke Skog, Skogssällskapet, Svenska kyrkan, Naturbruksgymnasiet Skedom and Metsä Husum, we are proud to be involved in financing the exhibition through our joint association Skogen i Skolan i Västernorrland. The initiative is also co-financed by KSLA - the Royal Swedish Academy of Forestry and Agriculture.

“Frökapseln is as a fantastic opportunity, not only for children and young people to learn more about the forest, but also as a natural meeting place for ourselves - both at work and in our private lives,” says Johan Börjesson, Head of Innovation Systems at RISE. 

‘How does the forest help people to feel good - and how do people help the forest to feel good?’ These are the questions posed in Frökapseln, and they deserve both reflection and engagement.
