Project 21NRM06 EMC-STD

Final Workshop of the 21NRM06 EMC-STD Project (Metrology for Emerging Electromagnetic Compatibility Standards)

01 October 2025, 13:39

On September 24, 2025, we gathered at RISE’s EMC testing facility in Borås, Sweden, for an inspiring final workshop in the 21NRM06 EMC-STD project (Metrology for Emerging Electromagnetic Compatibility Standards). The day was filled with interesting discussions, practical demonstrations, and valuable knowledge sharing from the project’s technical topics.

Key workshop presentations:

  • "Conducted Emission Method by Live Impedance Measurement"
    Serdar Büyük, TÜBİTAK UME, Türkiye
  • "Efficient In situ Assessment of Radiated Emissions using Time-Domain Measurements"
Jordi Solé Lloveras, EMC Barcelona, Spain
  • "Metrological Characterisation of EMI Receivers"
Martin Hudlička, CMI Czech Metrology Institute, Czechia
  • "Multi-level Validation of Direct Sampling Time Domain Measuring Receivers"
Ivan Struzhko, University of Twente, The Netherlands

With the help of marvellous autumn weather, we performed a live demonstration of on-site EMC assessment for a Photovoltaic (PV) installation with Time-Domain techniques.

A big thank you to all project partners and to all participants from stakeholders, industry, academia and NMI’s.

We are amazed to see the findings from this project incorporated into in-situ Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) evaluations, EMC applications for the ICT and vehicle industries, EMC standardisation and calibration services for measurement equipment.
