About us

EMC and Wireless Communications at RISE offer high-quality and reliable services in research and testing for EMC and wireless communication for industries such as the automotive industry, the telecom industry, the heavy engineering industry and the defence industry. We have about 50 employees and are the largest EMC test facility in northern Europe.

With a total of 10 test beds designed for different product areas, AWITAR (Automotive Wireless Test and Research Facility) is the largest and a "state-of-the-art" EMC chamber used by the automotive industry for advanced, scenario-based EMC tests as well as complex communication tests in both testing and research. AWITAR has the capacity to take objects up to 70 tons in weight.

Other chambers are used, among other things, for tests of vehicle components, radio transmitters and antenna calibration.

We also work with global type-approvals to support our customers in their launches globally.
