Climate adaptation is a broad field encompassing many different areas of focus and requiring a wide range of expertise. At RISE, our experts can provide support in areas such as strategic climate adaptation work, vulnerability assessments of property portfolios, evaluating the properties and functions of materials and products, investigating damage and providing support for remedial measures. We can offer training, investigations and analyses, testing and verification, and consultations.

We can help you with the following, among other things:

• Make sure that buildings and other structures can withstand water damage and other external stresses.
• Test and evaluate nature-based, multifunctional solutions for urban spaces.
• We conduct risk assessments and climate risk analyses of property portfolios, linking them to the CSRD and Taxonomy.
• Develop decision-support tools and methods for prioritising and evaluating climate adaptation measures.
• Support the development of working methods and strategies.
• We provide expert knowledge and support in the event of incidents.

In addition to its broad expertise in climate adaptation issues and measures, RISE also has expertise in infrastructure, materials, construction, stormwater management and urban greenery. Furthermore, RISE has cutting-edge expertise in visualisation, digital systems and AI, which can be important tools in climate adaptation work. These tools can be used to develop or improve planning documentation and increase collaboration with other stakeholders. RISE also works on issues related to food supply and security in times of crisis and disaster.
