Mobility

The transport system of the future is facing a fundamental shift where climate change meets digitalisation and new user needs. Organisations and municipalities need to navigate a complex landscape where fossil-free vehicles, autonomous technologies and shared mobility services are developing in parallel. At the same time, existing regulations often hinder new solutions, and both urban and rural municipalities are struggling to create accessible transport systems that work for everyone. The challenge lies in making the right decisions when technology is changing faster than legislation and when business models for mobility services are still undeveloped.

RISE helps you meet this transition by combining applied research with practical testing and regulatory innovation. By developing and evaluating new mobility solutions from micro-mobility to autonomous vehicles, testing the technology in real environments on test beds such as AstaZero, and facilitating dialogue between authorities and industry, we resolve regulatory issues and create conditions for new solutions. Future studies, user tests and scenario analyses provide you with a basis for strategic decisions and show the way towards sustainable transport systems. As a neutral player, RISE brings together different parties and drives complex issues forward where no single player can succeed alone.
