How to create longer lasting products for circular offerings

Then join us to learn about Future Adaptive Design on May 3rd.

The Future Adaptive Design approach is a result of ten years of research and experience from collaborating with companies in multiple sectors. 
With our framework, methods and tools you can support companies to design longer-lasting products for circular business models that have potential to become more profitable for the producer, and less expensive for the customer compared to products offered based on linear business models.

RISE:s tools and methods will help you to identify

  • How to design products that are possible to adapt to future needs and requirements 
  • The main risks for premature obsolescence
  • The profitability and the environmental benefits for an envisioned circular business model
  • How purchase price and lifecycle costs can be balanced

Target audience

The training is targeting inhouse product development and design teams and consultant firms who want to upskill their teams on circular economy and designing products for circular business models. 
Participants can e.g., be; leaders within business and design and innovation, change agents, designers, product development engineers and project leaders within product development and design. We also see leaders within environmental affairs as important participants
