Summarising conference on the Nordic Bioeconomy Programme

The Nordic Region is much more than its capitals – the Nordic Region is large areas of land and sea with great biological production capacity – areas that produce food from land and sea, areas that produce wood for construction, buildings, paper and energy. How can the Nordic bioeconomy be strengthened and become even more important for local value creation in rural areas, and how can it contribute more to the Nordic Region’s preparedness and resilience? 

These are questions that a Nordic steering group has been working on for several years under the Bioeconomy Programme. 

You are warmly invited to this conference to discuss issues pertaining to the Nordic Bioeconomy. Together, we will build on recent work within the Bioeconomy Programme and provide input for future actions to develop the sector through inspiring keynotes and workshops throughout the day.
