Contact UrbanJoin us for an inspiring event centered around 3D printing and additive manufacturing. This is the opportunity for those of you who want to get started with the technology, but also for those who have been working with 3D printing for a while and want to take the next step.
During this day at ASSAR Industrial Innovation Arena, you will have the chance to attend inspiring lectures, participate in workshops, and meet experts in 3D printing and additive manufacturing.
The day is organized by the University of Skövde in collaboration with RISE, IDC West Sweden AB, Addict3D, ABB, KFM Maskin and is part of the projects ShiftLabs, Innovationsboost och 3D-Action 2.0.
Please note that the majority of the seminar is conducted in Swedish.
3D-Action 2.0 is run by RISE in collaboration with Chalmers, Göteborgs Tekniska College, IDC West, IUC Väst, and IUC Sjuhärad. The project is funded by the European Union, the Västra Götaland Region (VGR), and RISE through the Application Center for Additive Manufacturing.

Morning: Which 3D Printer Suits Me? What Material Should I Use? This workshop is for those who want to get started with 3D printing. We will review the different types of 3D printers (desktop printers) available. Which filaments are suitable for which prints? How should you choose material for your application? Given in English.
Afternoon: Getting Started with 3D Printing, Step by Step. From Idea to Reality! Step by step on how to get started with 3D printing (desktop printers). Various software options. Maintenance and troubleshooting of 3D printers. Different 3D print communities. Improving print quality and achieving higher quality. Given in English.
Afternoon: Taking the Next Step in 3D Printing This is for those who have some experience in 3D printing, and are keen to take on new challenges. Bring your questions or perhaps failed prints. Together, in smaller groups, you will tackle questions and challenges.
Afternoon: Meet a Specialist in 3D Printing What area in 3D printing would you like to explore further? Are there any participating companies you would like to talk to more? Let us know, and we will try to arrange it.
