OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 guarantees that the textile in the finished product is free from harmful substances. What does certification require and what do this year's updated requirements mean? Welcome to an in-person seminar at RISE in Mölndal on 22 Sep - or join us digitally on 24 Sep. Get your questions answered directly by our OEKO-TEX® experts.
A certification under OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 opens doors with customers and retailers who require documented chemical safety – and helps you stay ahead of legislation that is continuously tightening. But the requirements are updated every year, and what they mean for your specific products is not always straightforward. During the day we will go through this year's updates, how chemical analyses relate to the requirements, and how the certification may be used in labelling and marketing – whether you are already certified or considering becoming so.
-> For those responsible for certification, quality or sustainability – and who want to be prepared for their next renewal.
The updated 2026 requirements may affect your products at your next renewal – we will go through what has changed and what it means for you, before it becomes a problem at the time of application. How do new EU regulations on chemicals interact with the requirements of STANDARD 100, for example?
You will also learn how the certification may be used in labelling and marketing, so that you can increase your visibility with customers while avoiding mistakes. The day is also an efficient way to give new colleagues and sales staff a shared foundation, all in one session – and you will get a quick overview of OEKO-TEX®'s other certifications, if the next step is already within reach.
-> For those evaluating whether certification is right for your products – within sustainability, quality or product development.
After the day you will know whether certification is right for your products, what it requires and what you are committing to. You will understand the application and certification process, know how to get started and who at RISE to contact.
You will also get an overview of OEKO-TEX®'s other certifications, so that you can choose the right certification from the start – rather than having to redo the work later.
Get them answered during the open Q&A session that closes the day, or informally if the opportunity arises – whether you join us in Mölndal or online. Take the chance to put your specific questions to those who work with STANDARD 100 every day.
