Large fire test hall, Trondheim

In RISE Fire Research's large fire test hall in Trondheim large scale fire tests are performed for Norwegian and international customers. The test hall measures 17 x 34,5 x 23 meter, has a large flexible ceiling and is one of the biggest fire test hall in the world.

In the test hall large scale tests of sprinklers-, water mist and gas extinguishing systems are performed and develeoped. In connection with the test hall we also perform jetfire- and cryogenic test for the offshore industry. This is tests where passive fire protection is tested against burning pressurized hydrocarbon and/or cryogenic leakages
