Works with surface integrity analyzes with a focus on residual stresses for investigations of metallic materials connected to manufacturing processes such as heat treatment, processing, forming and joining as well as additively manufactured materials. Works with residual stress analysis with X-ray diffraction, incremental hole drilling and the contour method. Also performs measurement of topography with interference and confocal microscopy. Carry out in-depth analyzes of how the material has been affected with analyzes of microstructure using SEM, EDS (Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy) and EBSD (Electron Back Scattering Diffraction).
Doctorate in production technology for the development of processing of superalloys for the aircraft engine industry.
