Water and wastewater organisations describe challenges in finding leaks in plastic pipes, a lack of sensors and real-time data, and resource constraints. In this workshop, RISE is bringing the industry together to discuss challenges, share experiences, and explore new technologies and methods that can make leak detection more efficient. Welcome!
The leak detection work carried out by water and wastewater organisations varies in terms of integration: some have established routines and technical support, while others handle leaks on a more ad hoc basis. There is still a significant need for increased data collection, access to sensors, and expertise in new technologies such as AI and IoT.
To meet this need, RISE is now offering a free digital workshop as a first step toward working more systematically with smart leak detection. Over the course of two hours, short presentations are combined with practical exercises where participants share experiences, identify obstacles, and develop the next steps toward a smarter way of working.
The workshop is aimed at anyone who is involved in or works with leak detection in pipe networks. This could include personnel working with operation, maintenance, and systematic leak detection in pipe networks, such as water and wastewater managers, operations managers, supervisors, automation and development engineers, and meter managers.
After the workshop, you will:
Participate in the workshop and take the step towards a more efficient and data-driven approach to leak detection.
