Technology infrastructures for water

Flexible pilot plant for stock preparation for cellulose fibres, an important step in paper production.

The testbed addresses issues related to pipes and pipe systems for water and wastewater, heat and cooling, and gas. It is unique in Sweden and has a strong international position.

A test beds for evaluation of stormwater systems have been established at HSB Living Lab in Gothenburg. The testbed give technology providers the opportunity to test and evaluate their technical solutions for stormwater management in a natural environment. 

We use natural seawater pumped in from the Atlantic Ocean, which makes our testbed rather unique in Europe for testing of any kind of seawater systems, from small to large scales, with accurate control of test parameters.

The test bed offers evaluation of techniques for post-treatment methods for PFAS in soil and water as well as evaluation of methods and means for PFAS-free fire extinguishing.

The RISE testbed for wastewater technology offers a flexible platform for research, product development, and independent third-party testing. It supports both established solutions and prototypes, with customizable setups tailored to specific customer needs.
