Contact JennyDialkyl diketene dimers (AKD) are used in the paper industry to add hydrophobicity to paper. Unbound AKD can get hydrolyzed to dialkylketones, which can potentially migrate to fatty foods from food packaging.
Dialkylketones have limitations according to BfR XXXVI.
We offer analysis of dialkylketones from AKD in solvent extract according to SS-EN 15519.
We also offer analysis of dialkylketones from AKD in coffee and in coffee with milk. For analysis in other type of foods, send request.
The results will be compiled in an analysis report.
