Work Package (WP) structure
SmartPV is a 36-month project structured into eight work packages (WPs), where each builds on the results of the previous ones. The first five work packages (WP1–WP5) focus on technical development:
from creating efficient LSC materials and light management strategies (WP1) and chromogenic films (WP2), to simulation and device design (WP3) and experimental characterisation of materials and devices (WP4). These steps provide the foundation for process development in WP5, where a functional SmartPV prototype is demonstrated.
The remaining work packages support and strengthen the project’s implementation and impact. WP6 is dedicated to communication, dissemination, and exploitation of results, while WP7 connects the project to the CETPartnership Knowledge Community and related activities. WP8 ensures efficient and structured project management, including monitoring of progress, timelines, and costs.
