Dr. Jesper Edberg joined RISE and the Department of Printed Electronics in 2017. At present, he works within the Bio- and Organic Electronics unit as a senior scientist and project manager. His primary focus resides in the realm of organic energy storage technologies and advanced cellulose composite materials.
Jesper Edberg recieved his Master's degree in Material Science and Nanotechnology from Linköping University in 2012. Subsequently, he pursued his Ph.D. in applied physics at the Laboratory of Organic Electronics (LiU). His doctoral research, titled "Flexible and Cellulose-based Organic Electronics," solidified his expertise in the field.
Today, Jesper Edberg is primarily engaged in spearheading projects that revolve around sustainable materials for electronics, marking a commitment to the advancement of eco-friendly technological solutions. He serves as the scientific leader within the Digital Cellulose Center; a Vinnova competence center devoted to the development of sustainable electronics solutions using forest-based materials.
