What is the global trend for bidirectional charging?

Welcome to this webinar on lessons and insights about the development of bidirectional charging (V2X) from a recently published report.

The webinar is based on a current status report on bidirectional charging commissioned by the Swedish Energy Agency and carried out by RISE in the spring of 2026. The report addresses technical conditions, standards and regulatory aspects, strategies, commercial initiatives, user perspectives and a survey of research both in Sweden and internationally.

One of the authors of the report from RISE briefly discusses selected parts of these areas to provide a picture of where we stand today and which issues may be important in the future. The webinar ends with approximately 15 minutes of discussion and question and answer time.
