Mechanical Environmental Durability
With its extensive experience of how vibration affects objects, RISE can help the customer to develop and carry out relevant tests and determine how well a design or object can withstand mechanical stress from the surrounding environment. We offer accredited testing for a large number of standards (IEC, ISO, ASTM, MIL, etc.).
Purpose
Vibrations and shocks can damage structures. They can cause mechanical failure, or cause electrical malfunction. To prevent these problems, we perform vibration testing from some single Hertz up to 2000 Hertz. Everything from small to large specimens, in heat or cold, under simultaneous functional monitoring or without. In addition, with our unique technical width, we can be a discussion partner and often tailor test solutions that facilitate the customer and produce relevant results.
Method
The mechanical tests are usually performed on our vibrators in our labs. In these labs we also have access to other equipment for environmental durability testing eg. climate chambers. By working closely with our internal suppliers, among others. fixtures and workshop services, we solve most things in house within a short time.
Deliveries
Often results are communicated on an ongoing basis during a test. Sometimes the customer participates during the acctual testing. After a completed test, the results are usually socumented in a technical report. Most of the reports we issue are accredited. The report can, for example, provide the basis for further CE marking
