Indoor paints - Tests for EU-green label and Svanen
VOC-measurements, spreading rate and washability of indoor paints according to EU commission decision K(2008)4453. Spreading rate according to SS-EN ISO 6504-3 and washability according to EN ISO 11998.
Purpose
We are the only accredited laboratory in Northern Europe which perform these measurements, which provide the market with healthy and environmental friendly products.
We can help you to formulate your paint product, by providing you results on the minimal functional requirements regarding spreading rate and washability.
Method
In our lab we perform tests as spreading rate according to SS-EN ISO 6504-3 and washability according to EN ISO 11998 regarding to requirements according to EU commission decision K(2008)4453. The result can be used as a basis to green labeling as Svanen and EU-green Label.
Deliveries
You receive results such as opacity in % at 20 m2/l, opacity in % at 8 m2/l, spreading rate at 98% opacity, density and non-volatile matter.
Regarding washability, dry film loss in µm is noted according to EN 13300.
All calculations are received in an appendix.
