EBSI-Vector
EBSI-vector is an EU project aimed at coordinating activities to adopt EBSI beyond the proof of concept stage by unlocking the potential enabled by Verifiable Credentials and Trusted Organizations Registries (VECTOR).
EBSI (European Blockchain Service Infrastructure) is a European Commission-driven peer-to-peer network with blockchain-based interconnected nodes in 27 EU countries, plus Norway, Liechtenstein, and the European Commission. The EBSI-Vector project aims to accelerate the adoption of the infrastructure and highlight the potential of a European, publicly owned, blockchain-based infrastructure for verifying digital data. RISE is involved in the project with a focus on digital credentials and micro-credentials, concentrating on user journeys and piloting digital credentials in various formats.
