Contact BjörnThe project aims to strengthen mental health with a holistic, system-changing approach, by bringing together public actors together with business, civil society and academia to gain a broad understanding of the problem and find root causes of the ill health of the elderly.
RISE is participating in the project Mission: Elderly Mental Health during the period June 2024 - December 2025, which is financed by the county's municipalities (Karlshamn, Karlskrona, Olofström, Ronneby, Sölvesborg) and Region Blekinge via the collaboration body LSVO (Management Collaboration for Care and Welfare).
The project is based on a mission-oriented approach that is based on a system-changing approach with the goal of radically reforming current methods and practices. The focus is on overcoming structural obstacles in the field of elderly mental health. A mission-oriented approach is about operating with the support of cross-border forms of collaboration that acknowledge the complexity of a problem.
RISE has written a report that includes an interview study with central actors in Blekinge, as well as a compilation of lessons learned and knowledge gained during the workshop series Kraftsamling för äldres psyska hälsa in Blekinge, led by Region Blekinge.
