National Network for Sociatal Development Leaders in Transition

Climate change, digital transformation, demographic shifts, and growing demands for sustainability are reshaping how municipalities plan and deliver their initiatives. As a societal development leader and strategist, you play a key-role in guiding this transformation – fostering innovation and building a sustainable future for society as a whole.

At RISE, we are now launching a National Network for Sociatal Development Leaders, where we can come together to share experiences, gain new knowledge, and collaborate strategically across municipal boundaries. After conversations with several heads of society development, we know there is a need for a platform where municipalities can meet, discuss common challenges, and access up-to-date research and expertise.

The network is based on a membership model, giving municipalities access to structured exchanges through a variety of formats. This includes in-person thematic meetings on current topics, lectures, and discussions, as well as digital sharing sessions for ongoing exchange of experiences and environmental scanning. Members have the opportunity to influence the agenda, and the forum is tailored to their needs and priorities.

Organizational Culture and Working methods

The forum is characterized by an open and trusting conversational environment, where participants are encouraged to share their challenges and solutions. Themes and agendas are driven by the participants themselves, with a focus on concrete issues and practical solutions. There is also the opportunity to initiate joint projects based on identified needs.
