At a time when municipal digital services are crucial to residents' safety and welfare, strong cyber security capabilities are more important than ever. RISE offers experience-based training that brings together decision-makers and IT staff to build consensus, mutual understanding and strengthen the municipality's resilience to cyber attacks.
About the programme
The training is conducted in Cyber Range – a secure and advanced training environment where participants can practise responding to realistic cyber incidents. Through role-based exercises, both management and IT staff can practise working together during a cyber attack. The focus is on understanding each other's roles and responsibilities in accordance with the Cybersecurity Act and NIS2, making quick and well-informed decisions, and ensuring high availability in the municipality's digital infrastructure.

Anders Henriksson, Head of IT and Digitalisation, Vaxholms stad
We are very satisfied with the training and the role-based approach, which means that participants, regardless of whether they work with technology or are part of management, carry out relevant exercises that are linked together as a whole.
