Save the date! On March 10, 2027, the assembly industry will come together once again. We warmly welcome you to this year’s conference at Filmhuset in Stockholm.
How can automation, digitalisation and AI strengthen the competitiveness of Swedish industry? At the Assembly Conference 2027, leading companies will share practical examples and insights from real-world applications. Join us for a day of inspiration, fresh ideas and new perspectives on the future of manufacturing.
This year's theme is Competitiveness Through Automation. During the day, you will have the opportunity to attend inspiring presentations focusing on assembly, automation and the future of manufacturing. The programme offers a blend of practical industrial case studies and the latest research findings, with speakers from both industry and academia. The conference also provides excellent opportunities to exchange experiences and network with industry peers.
And, of course, the Assembly Award will be presented, but the identity of this year's winner will remain a secret until the award ceremony itself!
The conference is organised by the Swedish Assembly Forum, a network with members from over 60 organisations, led by a council of people active in industry and research.
The Swedish Assembly Award is awarded annually to a person or group of a maximum of 4 people who have contributed to the development of the assembly area. The award aims to highlight that development in the field of assembly is of great importance for the competitiveness of Swedish industry.
You are welcome to submit nominations for the Assembly Award 2026 no later than Friday January 22, 2027 – for the award ceremony at the Assembly Conference on March 10, 2027. Learn more here.
Please note that the conference will be held in Swedish.
It was a truly eye-opening experience to take part in so many industrial perspectives – insights that I will definitely bring with me into my research.
Very good and relevant presentations.
It was great to be able to share how we approached the work and the benefits we achieve through a changed way of working.
