The NMI offers tracible calibration of antennas in the frequency range 30 MHz - 18 GHz for a multitude of different antennas, as for example horn antennas, biconical antennas, dipole antennas. logperiodical antennas and hybrid antennas.

The laboratory at RISE Packaging Excellence Centre is certified by ISTA. It is one of the most well equipped and advanced laboratories in all of Scandinavia and specialises in simulating various transport conditions.

By commission of the Swedish authority “Myndigheten för delaktighet” (The Swedish Agency for Participation) RISE has developed a certification scheme for digital social alarms in cooperation with Swedish authorities and leading manufacturers. A test method has been developed and a test set-up for performing the tests has been implemented.

RISE offers evaluation of software in measuring instruments with regard to risks for incorrect measurements and measured values. The EU Directive for Measuring Instruments (MID) and guidelines from the WELMEC co-operation are the basis for the evaluation work.
