
RISE Computer Science Open House 2025
On April 10, RISE Computer Science Open House was held - a day to explore with leading experts how computer science and AI are making groundbreaking advancements and shaping the future.
During the event, visitors had the opportunity to be inspired by presentations and keynotes and network with experts in AI, cybersecurity, data centres, 5G/6G, space technology and more.

Marcus Wandt, astronaut and Chief Innovation Officer at SAAB and Tobias Edman, Unit manager at RISE held an inspiring conversation about the opportunities that arise in the meeting between AI and space technology. - Intelligence is physical
Kristina Höök, researcher at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, discussed how AI can be designed with and for our intelligent bodies, focusing on meaning-making, aesthetics and ethics. - Data centres in development
Jon Summers, lead researcher for data centres at RISE, presented how the data centre of the future meets energy needs, cooling challenges and sustainability requirements through energy solutions and advanced cooling technology.
