The Circular Car

Final seminar: The Circular Car

After three years of research and collaboration across the automotive value chain, The Circular Car project invites you to its final seminar – a full day of results, on-stage discussions and dialogue on what it will take to move toward a more circular vehicle fleet.

About the meeting

The day features on-stage discussions with researchers and industry partners, with plenty of room for the audience to take part interactively. The programme moves through seven themes, each tied to results from the project:

  1. Future vehicle fleets – scenarios for future vehicle use and material flows
  2. Policy and regulation – how policy instruments and legislation can enable a more circular vehicle sector
  3. Circular use – insights from user studies, ideas and solutions supporting more circular vehicle use
  4. Business ecosystems – necessary changes in the ecosystem, and possible connections and collaborations between actors
  5. Design for longer lifespans – strategies and design principles that enable longer use and increased circularity
  6. Disassembly for remanufacturing – experiences and solutions that make disassembly and remanufacturing easier
  7. Environmental assessment – results from the project's environmental and sustainability analyses

A warm welcome to a day full of knowledge, inspiration and dialogue about the future of the circular vehicle fleet!
