The goal of the Testa Challenge is to test and verify technology for bioprocess in the Testa Center in Uppsala. Between the 21st of March and the 1st of April 2022, the participants can learn how their technology fits into the manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals and the related bioprocess and a chance to gain acceptance in the market of factories and production-labs all over the world.
– I’m delighted to be a part of this exciting challenge as responsible for the protein analysis package involved in the bioprocess, says Jenny Blomqvist, project manager at RISE Bioeconomy.
Testa Center opens a lab for companies to test and verify their technology for bioprocess in general, and biopharmaceuticals in particular. At the Testa Challenge the participants get the chance to prove their quality and worth.
– This is a concept inspired from hackathons and open innovation concepts but applied in a bioprocess, says Jesper Hedberg, Director of the Testa center. We are inviting companies from the technology digital, and data segment to integrate, test and verify their innovations in a fully funded standard bioproduction workflow.
RISE, along with Cytiva and Pall, supports the Testa Challenge, which is organized by Testa Center and STUNS Life Science. The event is funded by the European regional Development Fund, Region Uppsala and the Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth.
