Sweden has long held a strong position in technological innovation and often tops international rankings. The work in this project aimed to highlight aspects that are important to consider in order to identify and work with areas of technology that are of strategic importance to Sweden.

The Animal Production Knowledge Hub was established in 2023 on behalf of the government, with the aim of strengthening productivity, profitability and competitiveness in Swedish animal production.

AI at Work for SMEs in Västerbotten provides small and medium-sized enterprises with an accessible path into AI through training, peer learning, and practical exercises. By lowering the barriers to AI adoption, employees strengthen their knowledge, confidence, and ability to develop new ways of working.

HITS 3 addresses the challenges of urban logistics systems from a systemic perspective and aims to accelerate the transition toward more efficient and sustainable urban freight transport.

Europe is transitioning to a bioeconomy, but progress is uneven across regions. At the heart of this transition are regional bioeconomy clusters that bring together actors across the value chain. RISE has been appointed to lead ESA Phi-Lab Sweden, a strategic initiative focused on accelerating the use of AI and edge learning in the space sector. As the programme office, RISE, with financial support from ESA and Vinnova, will coordinate calls for proposals and allocate research grants during the project's six-year duration.
