Swedish Centre for Chemical Substitution www.substitutionscentrum.se has been commissioned by the government to facilitate the activities to phase out unnecessary harmful chemicals in society.
Through advice, training and communication as well as various substitution projects, we contribute to meeting the environmental goal of a non-toxic environment and enable a transition to a circular economy.
Tonie has a PhD in groundwater chemistry from KTH, has worked with research, research funding, environmental monitoring and project management. Since 2006, she has worked with chemical issues related to consumer products and goods, since September 2018 at the Swedish Centre for Chemical Substitution, now as a senior advisor. During the period March-December 2019, Tonie was center manager.
