Pawel Piatek

Pawel Piatek is a research scientist, with a background in microbial carbon capture and utilisation for next-generation fuel and chemical production. Pawel has experience in national and EU projects aiming to develop bio-based solutions for tomorrows challenges.

Experiences at RISE include development of “drop-in” fuels using renewable hydrogen and organic waste, bio-based solutions towards acid mine drainage and production and sustainable protein production using industrial residue gases. Pawel has a strong interest towards strategic CCU bioprocesses development which can contribute towards wider recognition and adoption.
