Hayley is a researcher and senior designer exploring inclusion, participation, and systemic transformation through creative, participatory, and speculative design. Her work brings together diverse human and more-than-human perspectives to explore how design can shape more sustainable and resilient futures. Her work spans national and EU projects supporting transitions in circular economy, sustainable mobility, soil health, digitalisation, climate and environment, energy, and urban–rural development. Collaborating with citizens, municipalities, researchers, and industry, she develops methods, tools, and frameworks that make complex societal challenges tangible and actionable. She develops interactive, system-orientated, and prototyping-based design approaches to foster dialogue and engage stakeholders in imagining new possiblities. Examples: Power in the Remake (https://vimeo.com/riselearningnarrative/powerintheremake), We Are All Old (https://vimeo.com/1068590785), and Winter Sun (SIMBY) (https://vimeo.com/995923425/a24423f367?share=copy&fl=cl&fe=ci). With over 15 years of international experience in design consultancy and cultural initiatives, she applies design as a practical and imaginative tool for collaboration, innovation, and social change.
