We help you with all aspects of battery testing: from needs analysis to testing and certification according to standards and legal requirements. A battery must be exposed to vibration, mechanical shock, extreme temperatures and provocation to ensure safety. Not until then your battery is ready for market introduction.
Safety-critical testing of batteries
Our safety-critical testing of batteries is carried out in our custom-built, explosion-proof, and sustainable lab in Borås. The lab opened on 28th September 2023, and it offers the latest in technology and equipment for battery testing.
Our battery testing capacity
We handle components of all sizes and our largest abuse hall can handle fire from a large passenger car. The 500 mm concrete walls with 32 mm reinforcement bars, 160 mm steel doors, and the smoke gas evacuation system guarantee safe and sustainable battery tests.

Some battery standards
We help to perform the tests included in, among others, the standards UNECE R100, UN38.3, GB 38031, GTR20, KMVSS TP48, and SAE J2464. But we test according to many more standards. Feel free to contact us for further guidance on standards.
