The Battery Materials and Processing Conference

Welcome to the Battery Materials and Processing Conference, 27–28 May 2026 – the leading meeting point hosted by RISE for experts, researchers and industry leaders in battery materials and energy storage. The conference provides up‑to‑date insights into materials innovation, sustainability and next‑generation battery technology.

Exploring the future of battery materials and processing

The conference covers the full battery materials value chain – from raw materials and active components to processing, battery cells and manufacturing. Key topics include cell components, binders, separators, testing methods and advanced analysis. The programme also addresses safety, recycling and reuse, with a focus on supporting more sustainable material and production choices.

After each session, the speakers and the session chair take part in a panel discussion.
