The Battery Materials and Processing Conference

Welcome to The Battery Materials and Processing Conference, 27-28 May 2026 – the key meeting point for experts, researchers and industry leaders in battery materials and energy storage. The conference offers insights into the latest developments in materials innovation, sustainability and next-generation battery technology.

Exploring the future of battery materials

The conference covers the entire battery materials value chain – from raw materials and active components to battery cells and manufacturing. Key topics include cell components, binders, separators, as well as testing methods and advanced analysis. Safety, recycling, and reuse are also in focus, driving sustainable and innovative energy solutions.

Stockholm

Stockholm is a city where history meets modernity, spread across 14 islands and surrounded by sparkling waters. Here you can wander through the charming alleys of the Old Town, experience world-class culture and enjoy stunning views from the city's many vantage points.

Venue - Bygget in Stockholm

The conference is held at Bygget, at the top of Norrlandsgatan 11, in the heart of central Stockholm. Bygget combines unique architecture with timeless design, bringing together classics from Ole Wanscher, Bruno Mathsson, Alvar Aalto, Josef Frank and Louis Poulsen to create an environment that is both stylish and inspiring.

Social networking and dinner at Junibacken

Social networks are important for building and maintaining relationships, both personally and professionally, which can lead to new opportunities and collaborations. Sharing a good dinner together strengthens relationships, promotes meaningful conversations and improves the overall networking experience.

The evening begins with a magical journey on the fairy tale train to the banquet hall. We disembark at Villa Villekulla and are greeted with a welcome drink in a fairy tale setting. After mingling, the evening continues with dinner one floor down in the restaurant, where culinary delights and a wonderful atmosphere await.
