Whether you need a quick and transparent test or require testing over a longer period, RISE can provide the right expertise.
Assessing the energy-saving of full-scale wind-assisted propulsion systems is now a standard practice. Whether there is a contractual performance guarantee or not, an independent 3rd party evaluation of the system’s performance is crucial for the confidence and satisfaction of all stakeholders involved. RISE’s experienced experts can assist in planning, conducting and analysing the sea trials.
RISE offers two standard programs: a shorter, attended sea trial and a long-term test campaign, both based on on-off tests. These can be conducted separately or in combination and can be complemented with analysis of existing monitoring data.
