Neuroarchitecture and neurodesign – Evidence‑driven Design for Health

Our work within neuroarchitecture and neurodesign is grounded in the belief that environments are not passive backdrops, but actively influence how people think, feel, perform, and connect. By translating these scientific insights into concrete strategies, we help organisations create environments that enhance health and performance.

By combining advanced neurotechnology with human-centred research and computational modelling, we generate evidence that reveals how design impacts the brain and body in real time. This integrated approach allows us to translate complex scientific insights into practical strategies for healthier, more resilient, and more effective environments.

Whether supporting early-stage concept development, guiding architectural decisions, or evaluating real-world impact, we help organisations design spaces that are not only functional but truly supportive of human wellbeing.

Our expertise

  • Evidence-Based Neurodesign & Environmental Analysis
Through biometrics, EEG, fMRI, and other physiological measurements, we evaluate how environments influence health, orientation, recovery, and performance. These insights form a robust scientific foundation for design decisions.
  • Technology Driven Testing & Simulation
Using AI, VR/XR, and computational modelling, we simulate user experiences before construction. This helps identify stressors, test design hypotheses, and optimise spatial solutions with evidence rather than assumptions.
  • Neuroscience Informed Architecture & Design
We translate scientific understanding of perception, stress, cognition, and behaviour into actionable design strategies. This ensures environments support clarity, comfort, and high performance.
  • Sustainable & Human Centred Environments
We explore how ecological and social sustainability shape behaviour, safety, belonging, and long-term wellbeing. Our work includes bio-inspired and biophilic design approaches that strengthen the human–nature connection.
  • Strategic Interdisciplinary Leadership
We lead innovation across neuroscience, architecture, technology, and societal impact. This includes developing frameworks, tools, and strategies for health-promoting design and supporting organisations in future-oriented development.

Our scientific approach

Our approach combines neuroscience, environmental psychology, spatial science, and human experience research to understand how space and the body interact to shape health, performance, and wellbeing. Each project begins with a structured assessment of both the physical environment and the embodied experience within it.

Data collection and environmental assessment

We build a comprehensive baseline using multiple complementary tools and methods.

How this creates value

By combining objective data, human experience, and predictive modelling, we generate insights that guide evidence‑based design decisions and strengthen health, performance, and long‑term sustainability throughout the entire process – from ideas and concepts to completed buildings or environments. Drawing on neuroscience, we analyse your challenges and propose concrete, effective improvements.
