Maria Tunberg

Maria Tunberg, Vice President Research and Business Development, works with solutions for sustainable transition in both the private and public sectors. Leveraging RISE's broad and interdisciplinary expertise, Maria fosters the development of future societies through collaborative, multidisciplinary efforts.
She has extensive experience in the innovation system through roles in international companies, public agencies, and as a consultant with a focus on societal transition. She has led complex and interdisciplinary projects and been responsible for the development of new business areas and partnerships.
Maria holds a PhD in entrepreneurship and innovation, an MSc in Environmental Management for Business, and a Master's degree in natural resource economics.
