Biodiversity is fast becoming a strategic issue for business. But how do you get started? This course gives companies a practical introduction to biodiversity and shows how the work can be integrated into their operations.

Course content

  • What is biodiversity and why is the issue important for food companies?
  • How does it affect, and how are companies dependent on nature?
  • Risks, opportunities and business benefits linked to biodiversity
  • Current frameworks and regulations, such as CSRD, TNFD and Science Based Targets for Nature, etc.
  • Dual materiality and the connection between nature and business
  • Practical steps and tools to get started with the work in your own organization

Target group

The course is aimed at sustainability managers, environmental strategists, purchasers, business developers and others who want to strengthen their knowledge of biodiversity from a corporate perspective.

Magnitude and implementation

The basic course in biodiversity lasts three hours, including simple exercises and breaks. The training can be conducted digitally or on-site.
